Junior Account Manager

Location: OranjestadType: FULL_TIMEHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Drive sales of our energy solutions by identifying and converting potential leads into satisfied customers, educating them about the benefits of our energy solutions and complementary products to maximize energy efficiency and savings. In this role, you will expand the customer base and contribute to the company's revenue growth through effective cross-selling and relationship-building, while maintaining excellent customer relationships and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out and engage with potential customers through calls, site visits, and online inquiries
  • Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to prospective clients
  • Identify customer needs for additional products such as battery storage, energy-efficient appliances, or maintenance plans
  • Develop strategies to introduce and market complementary products effectively
  • Provide excellent pre- and post-sale customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities within the renewable energy sector
  • Attend industry events and seminars to stay informed about market innovations
  • Collaborate with technical, marketing, and support teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree level of thinking and working
  • Sales experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage
  • 0-2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in solar energy or similar technical industries
  • Basic understanding of solar energy systems and renewable energy solutions (training will be provided)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
  • Good knowledge of Papiamentu, Dutch and English
