Junior Controller
Location: WillemstadType: FULL_TIMEHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
As a Junior Controller at Dynaf, you are responsible for the financial strategy, planning, reporting, and internal control systems of the company. This role supports the management team by providing clear financial insights and advice, ensuring the organization remains financially healthy and future-proof. You report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring Dynaf's financial integrity and performance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets
- Monitor financial performance and provide accurate variance analyses
- Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and liquidity management
- Ensure accurate and timely financial administration and reporting
- Lead and improve internal financial processes and control mechanisms
- Supervise and support the finance team (where applicable)
- Coordinate with external parties including auditors, banks, and tax advisors
- Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with fiscal and regulatory requirements
- Advise senior management on financial implications of strategic decisions
- Support investment proposals, cost analysis, and business cases
- Optimize finance activities by implementing automation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or project-driven environment
- Strong understanding of Dutch financial and tax regulations on the ABC islands and Sint Maarten
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., AFAS, Exact, SAP) and financial reporting tools
- Excellent Excel skills
- Good command of Papiamentu, Dutch and English (written and spoken)
