Junior Financial & Administrative Assistant

Location: WillemstadType: FULL_TIMEHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours)

As a Junior Financial & Administrative Assistant at Dynaf Curaçao, you will play a supporting role within the team. This position involves assisting with daily financial administration, managing general administrative tasks, and providing support in basic HR processes. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities related to office coordination, such as booking travel arrangements and handling various office-related duties. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities to grow and develop within a dynamic and professional work environment. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the HR department and administrative staff to facilitate smooth business operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the financial administration by assisting with bookkeeping, processing invoices, and performing reconciliations
  • Assist in payroll processing and provide administrative support for HR-related tasks
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and managing itineraries
  • Carry out general office administration duties such as managing supplies, organizing documents, and maintaining filing systems
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and help ensure compliance with local financial regulations
  • Support internal audits and assist with financial review processes
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data within the accounting system
  • Handle financial and HR-related information with confidentiality and integrity
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth and efficient business operations

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • Experience in financial administration or bookkeeping is preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Afas is a plus
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good command of Papiamento, Dutch, and English
